Andong New Areas is in the south of the urban area of Anyang and Anyang citizen culture center is located on the north-south axis of this Area and to the south of municipal government. With a total land area of approximately 45.8 hectares, this planning design covers the area from Wenfeng Avenue in the north to Wenming Avenue in the south, from Yongming Road in the east to Zhonghua Road in the west. Taking the profound historical culture of Anyang as the cues and focusing on the integration of “two-hall” scenic zone in the south, this design enables the citizen culture center to be the core of Anyang culture. By extracting the essence of Shang Culture and taking the artistic concept of the “eight sceneries of Anyang”, this design is made to create ten scenic features in this Area. Through the integration with “two-hall” scenic zone, the unique and charming Shang Culture based theme sculpture and bravura “Eight Diagrams” Water Screen Film has been designed, with the Qiankun Lake at central area as the central landscape. In the north is a thick forest showing the atmosphere of dignity and elegance and the refined and cultured “two-hall” scenic zone in the south is integrated with the northern part.
