Located in the northwest of Ziyang City and 15 km away from the Chengdu Tianfu International Airport, Ziyang New Industrial Town has the largest potential for development. The total planning area is about 292 sq.km, with the Initiation Zone occupying about 3.26 sq.km.

At the macro level, the Ziyang New Industrial Town is positioned as the window for the international opening-up highland of inland China, the important industrial node of Chengdu-Chongqing Urban Agglomeration, the pilot zone of integrated development of Chengdu and Ziyang as well as the opening-up gateway of Ziyang.

At the medium level, the Ziyang New Industrial Town aims to develop into the new airport town connecting Chengdu and Chongqing, the service town driving growth of Ziyang, the happy slow-pace town with comfortable living and working conditions and the ecological green town with beautiful mountain and water sceneries through abiding by the design concept of the regional coordination, smart city and sponge city and taking ecological protection, efficient transportation, efficiency first and landscape guidance.

At the micro level, the Initiation Zone upholds the design strategy of multiple functions, network ecology, intensiveness and high efficiency and comprehensive services, and aims to build the comprehensive service center that integrates business, office, life and industrial functions and takes business as the core, life service as the supplement and technical research and development as the support.
