The Center is jointly initiated by the young teachers who focus on research on settlements of ethnic minorities in Southwest China, with its members come from over 10 universities including Tsinghua University, Southeast University, Hunan University, Beijing Forestry University, Southwest University for Nationalities, Sichuan University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Kunming University of Science and Technology, Yunnan Normal University, etc.
