The Bohai Base Project is located in the coastal tourist area of Tianjin Binhai New Area, next to the main planning road of Evacuation Port on the north, adjacent to the planning extended line of Beijing-Hong Kong Express Rail on the west, close to the waters of Sea Area on the south, adjoining the planned docks on the east. The east-west length of the planning land is about 1,000 meters; its north-south length is about 800 meters; its area is about 46 hectares, including the Dock Basin Area.

     As an important startup project of the leisure and tourist area of Tianjin Binhai New Area, the Bohai Base Project is the new city image representative of the coastal tourist area of Tianjin Binhai New Area. Combined with the current planning status of the Base and the environment and functions of surrounding land, in accordance with the market operation, under the premise of the guiding ideology of accelerating the construction of urban areas, especially the new urban areas, we are required to advance the pace of building the Great Wall Road; to further enhance the city image; to lay the foundation for the construction of Taicheng Central Business District; to plan and build the area on both sides of the Great Wall Road into a fully functional landmark architectural complex integrating the shopping centre, the financial district, the high-end hotels and the apartment area, etc.; to make the said area become the important part of Taicheng Central Business District as well as the new urban landscape zone.
